About Dr. Bosco
Peter J. Bosco, MD, is a dedicated urologist on the team at Greater Hartford Urology Group, serving patients in and around Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Bosco focuses on general urology and offers treatments for diseases of the kidney, prostate, and bladder, including cancer and stone disease. He also has several years of experience in performing vasectomies for family planning.
Born and raised in New Britain, Connecticut, Dr. Bosco attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. He then went on to complete his undergraduate degree at Boston College in Massachusetts, and his medical degree at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his training in urology at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts, where he had extensive training in reconstructive urology.
Dr. Bosco then joined Saint Francis Hospital in 1990 as a member of the Hartford Urology Group, Saint Francis Medical Group, Trinity Health Care Of New England, and the Greater Hartford Urology Group affiliated with Prime Health Care.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Bosco is an assistant clinical professor in the department of urology at the University of Connecticut and currently serves as the Chief of Services for the department of urology at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
